TRI-ZAP plastic ear tags are a new combination for cattle made up of a sustained-release synergized formulation of Zetacypermethrin, an enriched S-isomer pyrethroid compound plus Abamectin, a highly active macrocyclic lactone.
Suitable for use on Beef and Dairy Cattle, including lactating dairy cattle as well as calves.
Controls Horn Flies, Face Flies, Lice and Spinose Ear Ticks.
No withdrawal period for milk or meat.
Two tags per head provides up to four months control of Horn Flies.
Using two tags per head on calves controls Face Flies which are the mechanical vector of Moraxella bovis, the bacterium that causes Pink Eye in cattle.
Provides reduction of blood loss in cattle due to Horn Fly feeding.
Controls Face Flies for up to two months when using one or two tags per head.
Controls Lice and Spinose Ear Ticks for up to three months by using two tags per head.
Ideal for rotation with other ear tags (see Y-TEX's recommended rotation program) - rotation helps manage insecticide resistance.
