The Reusable etag by Destron Fearing is available with FDX-B technology.

e.Tags assign a unique numeric identity to livestock thorugh universally recognized radio frequency technology. This identification process can unlock many important value-added variables that allow producers to participate in quality, age and source verification programs, as well as reduce time, financial costs and labor on a daily basis.

Each e.Tag contains a passive, full duplex (FDX-B) radio-frequency identification (RFID) transponder encoded with a 15-digit ID number that can be read in milliseconds, even in "noisy" environments with high amounts of metal and electrical interference.

e tags can be read by all ISO-compliant readers; read range is up to 4 feet (1.2 m) depending on system used and at optimal tag orientation.
Approved for use by the International Committee for Animal Recording (ICAR)
e tags are easily applied and perform reliably in harsh conditions, including temperature ranges of -31 degrees to 122 degrees F (-35 degrees to 50 degrees C).
e.Tag studs include a self-piercing component specifically angled to provide small, clean incisions. They are also treated with Infecta+Guard to reduce the risk of infection and disease transfer, and the facilitate proper healing.
Suitable for use in beef cattle, dairy cows and calves.
etags are lightweight; each weighs 0.35 oz (10g) with the stud.
The air coil and electronic components are molded and permanently sealed into a durable, high-grade polyurethane using an exclusive, patented process.
